I need some help in merging user names by running SQL scripts or by other means
Our Confluence ver 5.6.5, MS SQL 2012. JIRA ver 6.3.12
here is our scenario, we are using Crowd Authentication with AD accounts.
we have Confluence internal users with this format - rt-john-smith, same for JIRA also
we have Crowd internal users with same format as above - rt-john-smith
we want to move to AD accounts authentication with this format - jsmith
how can i merge above Conf internal and Crowd internal users accounts with AD accounts, so that all user history/actions are saved with new user id.
we are disabling Crowd and Confluence internal users, but users are complaining that their history is not showing up.
in above scenario - user email is same, user first name and last name also not changing, only user name needs to be changed.
Appreciate your help any ideas or workaround for this.
thanks
Raj
We have a similar scenario. The only difference is, that we also want to be able to merge internal users form JIRA with our AD-Users in Crowd. Did you ever find a solution for this?
