Hide/Show certain fields depending on field value

Hello, how can I say if users choose certain values of a dropdown list with multiple choices the next 2 fields should be hiding automatically or just don't show up because they aren't necessary anymore?

Is it even possible in Jira?

That's not possible with Jira Cloud out of the box. If you are creating a Form for the Portal, then you can do that, but not in a Jira screen. Something like this might be possible with the ScriptRunner Behaviours app for Cloud which is currently in Beta.
