Automate Stories Under Epics

Having a hard time creating an automation where when an Epic is created under a specific Initiative- which would be the Epic's parent- Stories are automatically created under the Epic.

Anyone ever done this before? Not sure why my rule isn't working and Stories aren't showing up.

Great - glad you figured it out. Can you add what it is here for future readers who might have done the same thing?

Not sure why, but when trying to create the Automation "Parent Link" kept defaulting to the JQL language instead of Parent. And then it finally stayed on "Parent."

Not very helpful I know. All I did was delete a few automations and then it finally stayed on Parent.

The Parent Link field has been deprecated. Just use the Parent field.
