I have one version that is installed in multiple client production orgs often on different days. I need to be able to keep track of production install dates for each version by client. It would be easy to do if I could add a custom field or two to a version. Please help.

I've seen the question asked several times, but I do not see any solutions, or at least not any current solutions that are still viable.

We use JIRA 8.3.X server version.

I've not seen this capability in JIRA.

All customised, metadata fields are available to any project -- not to specific FixVersions within a project.

You might have to 'get clever' and try using tagging via the built-in Labels field or new customised, metadata fields.
