The forums consist of Product Q&A, Articles, and Discussion Groups.
Product Q&A areas contain questions and answers, and also host articles from thought leaders and Atlassian product teams. You can select which product you’re interested in by using the Product Q&A dropdown in the top nav. Or click here to see all our product areas. And if you want to be notified of new articles about that product, click "Watch" in the sidebar of any product area.
We also have Discussion Groups, which are mini-communities where you can connect with folks with whom you share things in common. Check out our Discussion Groups here!
You can customize your homepage to show you exactly the type of content you wish to see, and the community will remember your preferences for next time. If you'd like to get email or RSS updates, you can Watch a collection by clicking on "Watch" in the sidebar, or watch individual threads by clicking the eyeball icon on the post. You can also create search alerts: anytime you search for something, you can hit "Create alert" to be notified whenever new content is posted that matches that search. You can update and manage search alerts from Profile > Notifications > Search alerts.

This in turn allows them to unlock perks like access to Champion-only spaces, discounts to Atlassian events, special swag, and, of course, fame and glory. Read more here.
