Comment default set to Oldest First instead of Newest First?

Hi,

We recently upgraded our Jira DC server from version 9.4.6 to 9.15.2 and noticed that the issue view page's comment section is now defaulting to "Newest First." How can I set it to default to "Oldest First"? I attempted to change the property in the Advanced Settings, but it didn’t work as expected.

For reference, I followed this guide: Changing the Default Order for Comments.

This feature does not work in some versions. There is a bug ticket for the same
