Dear all,
We are using Exalate for syncing our on premise Jira DC ( 9.12.15) with a Cloud customer instance
We are facing some weird issue with Exalate. Suddenly the sync queue stop processing and no items gets sync.
No error gets reported by the configured connection
The only error we see in log is something like "exalate invalid use of request cache error"
The only way to get the sync to work is to restart our on premise instance which is ont acceptable
Does any of you, using exalate have faced same situation ?
How did you solve it ?
regards
Dear @serge calderara
I work for Exalate,
"exalate invalid use of request cache error" can result is stalled sync queues, especially in Jira DC environemnts. It can occur when Jira’s RequestCache is accessed outside of a valid web request context — something that can happen in background threads or long-running sync operations.
Can you please check the Exalate version, and update to the latest one?
You can always enable Exalate debug logging: https://docs.exalate.com/docs/how-to-enable-debug-logging-in-jira-on-premise
Lastly, can you please check in your script for if you are using internal Jira api's? Like issueService, ComponentAccessor.
Please let me know if you are using these and what version of Exalate you are running.
Thank you and have a great day.
Kind regards,
Mathieu Lepoutre
