Hi Community members,
I was wondering if anyone has insights on how to track the number of active users when developing an app on the Atlassian Marketplace. Is there a specific method or tool that helps developers monitor user activity over time?
Additionally, we don’t store any data from our users, so we’re looking for a way to track this without accessing or storing any user information directly.
One of our users, who is using a traceability and hierarchy plugin, Links Explorer (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211120/links-explorer-traceability-hierarchy?tab=overview&hosting=cloud), raised this question, and we’d appreciate any advice or best practices you can share.
Thanks in advance,
Shivam
There might be an app in Marketplace (this one works for DC but not Cloud: App Usage for Jira ) but I did find an open req for it that you might want to upvote if you don't find what you need: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MP-113
Thank you for sharing this point; it's really helpful! While the app does address part of the issue, it's not quite resolving the main problem accurately. However, it still provides some value. As for the query you shared, it's definitely needed to fully resolve this, and I'll be sure to upvote it!
