Send a custom email on issue resolve as post function (scriptrunner). Comments in other languages?

I have a code for sending a custom email as post function with scriptrunner. When the agents add comments, the code shows the mostRecentComment. When the comments are written in Greek language, nothing appears. Is there anything that i can add to my code in order to support Greek language?

When the issue is open and agents add comments, Jira send an email (default settings) and all Greek comments are shown correctly. Maybe scriptrunner works differently.

I never tried this, but make sure that your code is capable of handling UTF-8 otherwise the characters may not render at all. Also, any language pack required to render Greek language?

Hi Claudio, thanks for the reply. I managed to solve it by moving my post function after the fire of the last event and changed my code as shown below:
