How do I customize reminders to update statuses and how they are reported?

I am interested in customizing when goal owners get pinged to update their status on their projects. I would like to see what type of message they will receive or be able to test it and customize it myself.

I would also like to see or test what gets reported out to watchers. I would like to customize when this report gets sent out.

Thanks for the suggestions! We want to allow for some customisation of cadence for when updates are written and digests get sent out, but haven't yet started work on this.

Do you have a set time in mind, and would this be the same for all projects? And is there any content in particular you want to add to the digest or reminder itself?

Got it. Is there a way for me to see whether reminders were even sent out to goal owners? I am a goal owner but I did not receive any update even though it is Friday.

Ah, one thing to keep in mind is that goal updates only go out monthly, whereas project updates are weekly.

So you'll get your reminder to write a goal update on the first day of every month. There's some more about how that works with timezones in this article 

It sounds like you were hoping to write and receive a weekly update for goals in your workspace?

While we are on the topic, our Goal and Project owners are not receiving any reminders. Our workspace timezone is set correctly.

Did you have to do any additional setup? @Jennifer Shannon

Hi @anshu - thanks for reaching out about this. Two things I wanted to check:

1. Are the projects in progress? There won't be reminders if the projects are pending.
2. Under 'personal settings', is it possible the project owners have opted to receive their reminders in Slack or MS Teams instead of email? 

Let me know if those don't work, and we may have to a little more digging on our side.

Hi @Anshuman Dash _K15t_ - there's one more possible explanation I wanted to check with you: if your team is posting updates at any time during the week (e.g. Monday morning), the reminders will not be sent for that week on the following Friday.

If that still doesn't address your workspace, could you hit the 'Give feedback' button from in Atlas, so that we can securely share some more details?

I think that was it for the projects.

And for the goals, I think it was because their status was still pending.
