Now try Rovo on Sandboxes!

Hi community!

I’m excited to announce that Atlassian’s new Rovo offerings can now be activated to test in sandbox environments. When on a Rovo license (including when on trial) you can now activate Rovo in new or existing sandboxes. This will not require you to activate Rovo in any production site in the organization. Learn more about how to enable Rovo on Sandboxes

With this, you have full control to test Rovo and its AI features in a manner of your choosing:

  1. With limited, full or no data from your production environment that Rovo interacts with

  2. With a controlled set of users who will access and test the benefits of Rovo

We’re interested to see how you use Sandboxes to test out new features like Rovo in the future too. You will see us launch more features that can be enabled in Sandbox before they are enabled in production sites in the future.

Note about Rovo billing on sandboxes:

Just like regular production sites, Rovo will not be charged for during the 30-day trial period. Following the trial period, Rovo will be billed per user just like any other site.

If you have any feedback, please comment on the post below.

Cheers!

Sounds great @Adithya Ramesh , this is exciting news!

Regarding the last billing section you mentioned, does this mean we can install Rovo in the sandbox for 30 days and then have to disable it manually, or otherwise, we will be charged (even though its a sandbox)?

Hey @Nicolás Guzmán

Yes, that is correct - It needs to be disabled within 30 days, otherwise it will be billed.
