What is the best method to manually back up Jira attachments for a cloud migration via Site Import?

The documentation states:

If you want to migrate attachments, project avatars, or logos, you'll need to back them up as well. These are stored in your Jira application’s data directory, which is a sub-directory of the Jira application home directory. 

To complete this step, you'll need to create a ZIP archive of the /data/attachments, /data/avatars/, and /logos/ directories. There’s no one specific way to back up the data directory, but Backing up data outlines a few methods to consider.

The Backing up data page is more of a generic approach, and not targeted towards this particular use case.

Is there a best practice specifically for this scenario?

Windows server, migrating via Site import, looking to create a process for migrating attachments.

Hi @Rob Horan , if you're on a windows server the path of Jira attachments will not change, it will still be under jira home directory. Usually the Jira home directory is C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\data\attachments
