Hope you are doing Well!!

Both Deployments has their own Advantages and disadvantages.

Cloud:
If you don't want to perform manual upgradation, security patches,  configurations, database compatibility, database maintains then the cloud is best suitable deployment.

Datacenter:

If you want full control in your hand and few specific functionality are available only on datacenter then DC is the best.

I'd also include what timeframe you have to migrate (I'm assuming you are currently on server then?)

• Going to DC is pretty much a license swap and you're done.
• Going to Cloud will require a true migration path

As for me, it's quite better to migrate on Cloud.

I've been using cloud version for 2 years and totally satisfied with it.
