Hi there,
We have recently implemented using an EFS volume for all our elastic agents to connect to. This enables us to have a shared maven repository. But our teams are complaining in regards to:
- Builds slowing down. Since moving to EFS the builds take longer. Are there ways we can optimise the builds or EFS config to improve this?
- Snapshot creation and access. A lot of our plans create SNAPSHOTS with the same name. Is there a way this could be managed better?
Thanks,
Martin
WRT builds slowing down, you can start investigating by looking at the agent build log and compare it with the previous logs. Different total times can be due to the network latency or Elastic agent memory usage and what not.
WRT plans create SNAPSHOTS with the same name, did you intend to refer release naming scheme? If so, you can specify how Bamboo handles release versioning, and control automatic incrementing between releases.
This page helps you to name your bamboo releases.
