How do I direct my local agent to use an NVM managed version of node?

I'm using NVM to manage my node version on my bamboo server but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to control which version of node the local agent uses.

The problem is that I'm also using yarn which is going to use whatever version of node exists on the PATH and it doesn't seem to be finding one.

Can someone help?
