Can I get another plan's latest build number

As we can't support runtime update build number, I want a build can get the latest build number from another build plan.

You can achieve this with REST API

Here, 'latest' will be your friend

Could you provide an example how to get a json file that extracts the buildnumber of the latest build? This is quite obscure.
