Disable remote agent shutdown

I just noticed today that whenever you shutdown your main Bamboo-Server all the remote-agents are shut down too. Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

No, the agents will restart.

When we did a maintenance shutdown this night the remote-agents didn't restart together with the bamboo-server. Are there any steps we have to take to ensure that the remote-agents will restart?
