×I'm trying to use the new release and deploy function in Bamboo 5.0, but I am stuck. My release builds are done from a branch in our repository, like release/2.2, bamboo builds these on a plan branch. But how can I put the build result from the plan branch into a release? The UI doesn't seem to let me do this.
Without being able to use branches, this whole release/deploy function seems like it would be useless.
Hi Chris,
There is currently no way of linking a branch plan to a deployment project but this is something in our radar and currently tracking it at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-13268 Please vote and watch the ticket for updates on the roadmap. Thanks

Hello Chris,
It seems to me that you're asking for the same thing as in this question: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/192733/deployment-project-for-plan-branch-in-bamboo-5 - in that case I think it will be safe to say that currently (in Bamboo 5.0) there is no way to do this but we are working on it. Please watch and vote for https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-13268.
