Is there any Bamboo (and JIRA...) plugin for Klocwork?

Simone Longoni March 25, 2012

Hi there!

I am looking for a plugin to Bamboo to make Klocwork Static Code Analysis well integrated (graphs, acceptance criterias for making the build passing, etc). Something similar is already offered on Jenkins.

The best would be to have an automatic integration also with JIRA, i.e. automatically adding entries to a given JIRA project for each issue found in Klocwork.

Looking around I found nothing. Any clue?

Thanks, Simone

Did you have any luck with this, many years later I am looking for the same thing ? Regards, James.

Thanks a lot, Renjith!

Have you ever tried to build a Bamboo Plugin? Is it something reasonable or takes a lot of effort?

Clearly it will depend on the type of plugin, but let's say something easy like the SCP/SSH...

Cheers, Simone

Doubtful. Bamboo has to mature enough to reach the level of Jenkins in terms of tool integrations. A crude solution could be (if you are not willing to write a Bamboo plugin) to parse the KW xml, and post it Jira using JCLI with some scripts.
