We patched our Bamboo installation from 5.14.1 to 5.14.5 to address the Apache Struts bug and now we are unable to manage addons. We followed upgrade documentation procedures outlined here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/bamboo-upgrade-guide-720411366.html
Whenever we go to Gear -> Addons and click "Manage Addons", all that's returned is a "Page not found" error. We are getting no additional errors in the logs that indicate any sort of underlying cause.
Following the steps in this guide did not solve the problem: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamkb/upm-refuses-to-load-and-page-not-found-error-shows-up-when-accessing-it-in-the-ui-681705972.html
Moreover, manually upgrading Atlassian UPM to the latest version on the marketplace has no effect on the problem.
Platform Info
Bamboo Version: 5.14.5
OS: CentOS 7.3.1611 (Core)
Kernel: 3.10.0-514.10.2 x86_64
Java Version: Oracle Java SE JDK 1.8.0-121 x86_64
The answer to this problem was to check the Atlassian base URL setting under Gear -> System -> General. In our case, the value was changed to something incorrect, though audit logs don't show any users modifying this field.
