Are public snippets indexed by search engines, or "unlisted"?

Some services (e.g. pastebin) have a notion of "unlisted", which is like public but you have to guess the URL to find it.

Are public bitbucket snippets unlisted like that, or are they actually indexed and searchable by the world at large?
