Authentication method for Bitbucket by using private keys

Ramana Rainn October 7, 2018

We are currently using Teamcity for build and its integrating with Bitbucket in VCS roots in Teamcity. Right now we use local account from Bitbucket in Teamcity for accessing the repositories.

We plan to use private keys in Teamcity instead of accounts for authenticating new Bitbucket server. When I try to change the authentication method in Teamcity in one of the VCS root, Private key options are greyed out. This VCS root is not mapped to any project in Teamcity. Do we need to enable something in Bitbucket for this option?

As per Teamcity documentation. I also uploaded the SSK keys in one of the project and then when i edit VCS root authentication methos, It still greyed our for Private keys.

Can you please advise on this?
