I have two machines that I primarily develop on; a mac laptop and a desktop running Ubuntu 18.04. When I push code to my repository from my mac I am not asked for a password however when I do the same from my desktop I am asked for a password. I have checked and my configuration files for git are the same on both machines. Why is it asking me on my desktop?
