Hello,
We're trying to manage disk space on our Bitbucket Server instance.
However, even after deleting a repository, the repository folder is not deleted from the host server.
Example: Repository 'ABC' is stored in 'E:\Bitbucket_Data\shared\data\repositories\1278' and takes up 3GB of space.
After using the Bitbucket Server UI to Delete the repository 'ABC', the folder 'E:\Bitbucket_Data\shared\data\repositories\1278' is still on the disk and the files are still there.
Is this expected/intended behavior?
If so, can I safely delete folder 'E:\Bitbucket_Data\shared\data\repositories\1278' manually from the disk?
Edit for clarification:
I am not trying to delete a Project Repo. I'm trying to delete a Personal Repo that was forked from a Project Repo.
In the example, 'ABC' is forked from '123'
'ABC' is stored at 'E:\Bitbucket_Data\shared\data\repositories\1278'
'123' is stored at 'E:\Bitbucket_Data\shared\data\repositories\1248'
I only want to delete and reclaim disk space from 'ABC'
Hello,
I am facing the same issue as @Patrick Chen on version 7.6.1 of Bitbucket Server.
Can someone please answer his question ?
Kind regards,
Related to this: We have hundreds of thousands of folders in the tmp\git folder
Can these folders be deleted manually?
