We are working on Bitbucket Data Center and stuck at Elasticsearch setup.
we have seperate Elasticsearch server and loadbalancer now the question is, like Bitbucket do we need to have a seperate nfs mount point for Elasticsearch or it simply work without having its nfs mount point?
your suggestion will be highly appreciated.
thanks
Hi Bhagwan,
This is really a question best suited for Elastic (since we don't bundle the standalone version of Elasticsearch), but I can tell you already that Elasticsearch requires its files (at least the indexes) to be located on a local volume for performance reasons.
