I cloned a repo that contained a .lfsconfig file that is configured to save me from downloading a bunch of giant pdf/jpg/mp3 files that I don't need.

But in the SourceTree UI I see every not-downloaded file (placeholder files) marked as pending/modified and they're getting in the way of seeing what I need to focus on.

This happens when I clone using SourceTree.

If I clone from terminal using `git clone` the files show up as deleted.

If I clone from terminal using `git lfs clone` the problem does not happen.

Hi

Could you add some screen-shots to illustrate the problem. I don't believe we currently test against lfs.fetchexclude so it might be something we've missed.

Thanks
