Issue reference in text comment of commit

When I view a comments of commit I want tarnsform markup text like [#issue number] into reference like URL/issue number.
In addition, I need to be able to customize the URL (my BTS) in the setting.
How can I achieve this effect?
Perhaps there is a plugin that allows me to perform a similar setting?

I'm not aware of a plugin that does this, but we have a MarkupRendererComponent SPI that you could implement in a plugin to do it. If that interests you, the answer from Michael Heemskerk on https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/13407399 is probably your best source of how to do that.

One note - It sounds like you're asking for the text of user-written comments to be altered, and the above API can handle that. We don't currently pass Git commit messages through these plugins, so you currently can't alter those in the web UI.
