This post is now almost two years old - is it still true that it is not possible to add an issue type in Bitbucket? I am hesitant to use Jira instead of Bitbucket, because of Jira's "shaky support for markdown (it seems to be in transition, so some fields in Jira already support markdown, other do not and I am never sure "where am I")

Hi Tazhibova,

It is not possible to add issue type in Bitbucket Server. If you must know this is only possible in JIRA. DO refer to link suggested:

Regards,

Baskar Annamalai.
