Hi there!
I read a lot about the repository sizes in bitbucket cloud and it seems as giving the support a hint to run gc is the only solution so far.
So, I reduced the size of our repository (BitbucketCloud) from 1,6 GB to ~100 MB which the web portal doesn’t seem to realize (did this in february). I’m afraid we will, sooner or later, run into the 2 GB limitation.
The repository is located here: https://bitbucket.org/seetecde-bvi/bvi
Could you please have a look or give me a hint what to do?
Thank you very much in advance!
Kind regards,
Benjamin
Hi Benjamin! I've run a git gc on your remote and the size of it decreased to 374.5 MB.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Cheers!
Ana
Hi @Ana Retamal!
Thank you very much for taking care of my concern! I'm not quite sure, if it worked out the way I expected it? That's what it looks like in the settings of the repository:
374,5 MB seems to be the size of the LFS. Well, I expected the size of the repository itself to decrease from 1.7 GB to maybe 100 MB (if I clone it, it only is 100MB...)
I'm sorry for bothering you again!
Benjamin

Hi @benjaminloritz! You were right! I saw the small size after running the gc and missed that it was referring to the LFS storage, my apologies. I've run an aggressive gc now and the size has now been decreased to 75 MB. Please confirm that you can see the same!
Kind regards :)
Ana
