This only started happening recently, but its really annoying and I can't work out how to stop it.
When I use the terminal window launched from Sourcetree to run a git-fetch and git-checkout I always get prompted for my bitbucket password.
Hi
Are you using HTTPS or Git/SSH remote url?
Does the request work if you provide credentials?
1. I have no idea. How would I check?
2. Yes it works if I provide credentials.

HTTPS vs Git/SSH
With the repository open in Sourcetree click the Cog in the upper right. This opens the repository settings and you will see the remote URL called origin it will start with iether https, git or ssh.
