The Visual Studio Bitbucket extension isn't pulling from repo. Help!

EzraSidran January 28, 2019

My coding partner has set up a repo on Bitbucket. I've set up the Visual Studio 2017 Bitbucket extension:

However when I request a PULL it pulls from the local repository and not the bitbucket repo. I've obviously set this up wrong. How do I fix this?

Hi! I haven't used that extension myself, so my observations might not be the right ones. However, I can see that where it says "You are connected to Bitbucket" it is showing a local path instead of the URL to your Bitbucket account, probably the same path that is shown on the other section "Local Git repositories".

I've also found this tutorial about How to use Bitbucket and Visual Studio, hopefully it can help you clarify something :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the link. I've read it before. I ended up just installing GitKraken and it's easy to use though there's an annual fee.
