db migration from oracle to postgre sql

Background: Currently we are using Bitbucket v5.16.3 on our linux server with oracle db, but currently we want to migrate database from oracle to postgre sql with all data. Could you please guide me how we can achieve this.

Is there a database migration tool for Jira other than the xml back up option.

Hello,

Just take a xml back up of the instance with oracle db, and later remove the dbconfig file.

Then restart the instance and connect to the postgre database.

Jira Version needs to be the same version as it was in the oracle db.
