delete email but not account

hello what happen if a remove the email account but not account in atlassian ,

example : if a remove account in gmail  what happen with bitbucket

Well you won't get notifications, not that their working, for starters.

The account should work fine, but any account changes might be difficult if you can't get access to the listed email.

I highly suggest you change the account email BEFORE deleting the Gmail account.

Hi Edmondi, if you're planning on closing your Gmail account I'd recommend you associate your Bitbucket account to another email address first, as otherwise you're prone to lose your access to Bitbucket. Bitbucket uses email address + password as credentials, and you'll need an email address for multiple reasons, like resetting your password, receiving notifications, prove you're the owner of an account, etc.

You can change your email address from your Atlassian account at https://my.atlassian.com.

hello,thanks Ana for response ,  i'm not planing to remove the account but i need to understand what happen if i lose my email, because i have project in bitbucket and normal i need to know how work or what happen if i lose the email account.i think is most important for me
