javascript and soy

Is it possible to execute some javascript in a soy file?

I added some javascript in the <head> section, but bitbucket

said it could not compile the form.

I am trying to show some text after the submit button is clicked

on my form.

If this is not the right way to do it, any pointers on how I can do this?
