stash role based access

Hi,

I have successfully configured Stash to use Active Directory for delegated authentication.

But i also want to map Active Directory groups to various roles within stash 

Essentially, i want to say "All stash_admins in A/D should be mapped to admin role in stash" . The stash admin role would be preconfigured with the required permissions within stash.

Can i do something like this? any pointers?

Hi Rahul,

Have you synced up your LDAP users successfully yet?

Once you sync up the LDAP server with Stash, the LDAP group "stash_admins" is created.

All you need to do from here is to assign the desired Global permission to "stash_admins".

I was just mistaken to think that it will be synced without a user of that group attempting a login.
