Scorecard criteria based on files in git repos?

I want to reproduce the example shown in the video on this recent Compass announcement, specifically where they base a scorecard criterion on the presence of a CODEOWNERS file in a component's git repo. In the video, they show a Field called CODEOWNERS. I don't see that in my dropdown list for Fields. How would one do that?
(I'm hoping the answer is something built into the GitHub and BitBucket apps rather than having to use up one of our precious few custom fields and modify all our CI pipelines to populate it, especially since there are probably multiple repo files we'd like to measure via scorecards besides CODEOWNERS.)
