PDF links in database views

I'd like to create a directory of controlled documents with a link to the PDF embedded in the database. I managed a workaround by using a Dropbox link to the PDF, but I'd rather link to a PDF that is stored in Confluence.

Hey @Mark Lander  have you had a chance to try the "image" field type? While it only works for images now, is that the same type of behavior you'd like to see for documents?

I don't need to display the PDF in the field, just an inline-like link that would open the (multi-page) PDF like a page view.

Like this Dropbox Link. In this example, I'm also linking to a page, but for most entries in this database, just the PDF is needed for reference.

oui c'est exactement cela ! intégrer des pdf ou des docs de la même manière que les images.

@Matthew Machuca I would love to see this functionality for pdf documents.
