So I have noticed that when a user searches confluence and gets a result, clicking on the result does not transport the user to the line where the wanted text is.
The user has to first search using confluence and then his own browser in order to find what he needs.
Is there a faster/better way ?
Kind regards
Peter
Hi Peter,
There's not a feature currently that does that, or an add-on I am familiar with, but I usually use CMD+F (CTRL+F on Windows) to then search the word or phrase on the page that I am looking for.
There's a feature request to highlight the search results below:
I've also made a feature request for your context jumping suggestion:
Please feel free to vote on both and comment with your usage case.
Let me know if you have any questions about either.
Regards,
Shannon
