Adding a Template to a Space

I am on a space (page) that I did not create myself.  It's blank. I want to add an out-of-box- template.  There doesn't seem to be an intuitive button to click "Add a Template to this page"   How do you do it?

Welcome to Atlassian community.

Next to Create button is your  "Create from template" button. If you click on that you can actually choose a templet . Refer the below URL which has all the info you need.

That seems to create a new page.  I want to add a template to an existing page.

@joseph.marshall , I dont think thats possible. The template is what is used to create the page, so it's not possible to apply to a page that's already been created.

You can re-create a page using the template, and then copy and paste the data in from the old page, and archive or remove the former page.
