Hi All
The Atlassian Companion does not recognise changes on PowerPoint files.
When making changes on the file, i can't upload the file because the "upload" button is grayed out. Other file types like Excel work fine.

@bitbucket4isd Has it worked in the past? If it did have you tried deleting the companion app cache?
Yes, it worked in the past.
I also tried clearing the cache, no change. The problem occurs on all computers. On new computers, where the companion app was never installed, the upload sometimes works once, but not a second time. But again, only with *.pptx files, other files seem to work fine.

If you cleared the apps folder cache and it seems to be a widespread issue you might look at updating Confluence. Do you have a test instance to see if an update resolves the issue? I have seen this as a solution to this problem in the past.

I don't fully understand, what the confluence version has to do with the companion-app not recognising file changes, but on an other confluence instance with a newer version, the upload seems to work.
On our test instance, where the version is 7.10.0, so lower than the affected confluence, the upload also seems to work fine.
So apparently, i must be something with the setup of our confluence. Any ideas on where to look for something like this?

@bitbucket4isd in the past I have just seen individuals upgrade their instance to fix the problem.

Manually downloading and reuploading the file seems to have fixed the issue for the moment.
