Automatically update information from one table to another?

Hello,

I would like to have two tables in confluence.

The first is for me, it has a lot of detailed information and different columns etc.

The second one is for my customers. It has the same information as the first by cut down just to the essential stuff. The customer should not see all from the first table.

When changes are made to the first one, the second just takes over the info automatically.

Is this possible in confluence?

Thanks!

Hi Yousaf,

With the Excerpt Include Macro you can include another table entirely, but if you want to include only parts, you would need an add-on for that.

There are a few suggestions on these pages:

Keep in mind, however, that if you have restrictions on content on one page, you won't be able to display it on the other. So if you lock down the table for you from your customers, if you're trying to reference that same information on a customer facing page, they won't be able to see the content.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Shannon
