Blog post macro shows non-local date

I set our inhouse server confluence to german date and time format (dd. MMM yyyy HH:mm).

This works well for page history and date lozenge.

But the resolution of the Blog post macro with excerpts, shows the date in US format (month before day).
I can't see any setting in the macro to change the date format.
Is it possible to change the Blog post macro's date display to use the confluence settings ?
