Can I create a number of jira issues from a selection of rows in a table?

Philip Lewis September 3, 2019

I can select a table and then choose create multiple issues and it will create issues for each row in the table. If I subsequently add a few more rows and then try to select these to create multiple issues I'm told it will create new issues for every row in the table. This includes the issues I've already created?? Is there a way of only selecting a subset of rows to create the issues for?

Thanks

Hello Philip,

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Unfortunately, this is not possible and although a feature request was raised in the past, we have closed it as there are no plans to implement this in the near future:

  • CONFSERVER-40171 Let users select which rows to turn into issues when creating JIRA issues from a Confluence table

Perhaps you may be able to find a Marketplace add-on that could assist you in this?

Regards,

Shannon
