Can't open PowerPoint from attachment macro

My team use the Attachment Macro in Confluence to store documents that we share as a team. We are finding that some documents error saying 'Sorry, we couldn't open file...' when trying to open via Edit in Office but also in View the data is jumbled.

I can't work out why this happens for some files and not others. Does anyone have a fix to this?
