Changing the UI Expand icon

Hi,

I am currently refreshing the design of my team's Confluence space at work (server/data centre - version 7.13.8) and I am wondering how do I change the look of the UI expand icon?

I can see other teams in my organisation who are using the same version have a better looking UI Expand icon than what is available to me. 

I see a + icon, and they see a > icon. We are both using UI expanders (I doubled checked by looking at the source).

Is there some coding I can include on the CSS style sheet (or any other way) so that I can get the > expander instead of the + expander.
