Hello,
after a first glance to the new Confluence release, I'm looking for the non-WYSIWYG mode.
That is, the old edit mode with all the formatting {{code}}.
Thanks (:
The new Confluence editor does not have a wiki markup or non-WYSIWYG mode. Even if you insert some Wiki Markups using the macro in the editor, it will be transformed into WYSIWYG mode. However, you can use Confluence Source Editor if you would like to alter some XHTML codes.
Hi,
You can use this web based tool:
http://www.amnet.net.au/~ghannington/confluence/wikifier/rt/
But be carefull of what you're putting in, we don't know who can read it.
Have a nice day,
Laurent

I would also want 'raw edit' mode.
15 years ago I was hating documentation, because of word. Then came wiki, and documentation was nice. And now, we have confluence, with similar annoying 'I think I know what you need' behaviour as office suites. Makes me hate documentation again, or at least put another wiki for coders & sysadmins.

I am not sure if I get your question right. But if you are referring to {code} in the new Confluence editor, you can insert {code} by clicking Insert > Other Macros and search for "Code Block" Macro

Sorry, my explanation was not acurate.
I'm looking for the old raw code view. Not the WYSIWYG one.
