I use the Codeblock Macro as a Confluence user. The macro performs spelling correction, e.g.: I enter:
systemctl restart httpd.service
and the Macro autocorrects that into:
systemctl restart httpd.Service
This behavior makes copying command line commands from Macros impossible. I edited the text within the Codeblock, because after copying text from Cygwin there was one empty line for each bash command. I would like to get rid of the spelling correction. How can I?
Hi there,
I have just tested this in Confluence 6.5.0 Server version, but I wasn't able to replicate the problem.
I tried this both by typing it in manually and also pasting from your example. When you say you edited the text in the code block you mean that you're typing it manually there and not pasting, since pasting is giving you empty lines. Is this correct?
Can you let me know what OS you're on, as well as the browser you are using when you run into the error? Does it happen on more than one computer? Please also let us know what version of Confluence you are running.
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Shannon
The problem is solved since we upgraded from Confluence 4.3 to 5.10;
