Comment section of an entire space is missing

I have admin rights for confluence, and despite changing the permissions, i'm still unable to view the comments section for any pages within a particular space. This goes for that specific space. Other spaces within the environment, i'm able to view the comment section. Would anyone have any ideas/insights?

We found out that it was due to a plugin that we're using

Please review the  permissions under the Space Administration section for that specific space.

We did that, however, the comment section for an entire space, including their child pages etc was missing. We've contacted atlassain and they found out that it was due to a customisation that hides the comment section
