Confluence API - how to remove user?

Rafal Kaminski November 10, 2017

Hi all,

I struggle with Confluence (Server) API. I see all user from it in one group, I can see all groups. All is ok. But I wish to manage it somehow by API. I wish to add group or remove old user. Is it possible?

I'm doing it by Ruby script but it doesn't matter, because I think API doesn't have option to manage users by API. Am I right?

Thank you for any help and answer.

Best,

Rafal

Hello,

I understand that you are looking for REST API in Confluence server for user management purposes. Unfortunately, the Confluence REST API for this purposes has not been built yet. There is a request open to add user management to the REST API for Confluence:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CRA-563

Please vote for it so it will get more attention from the development team. You may also comment to emphasize your use case.
