Hi!
I'm looking to create a macro that can render the # of page views for a specific page.
Is there anyway to achieve this without a plug-in?
Thank you!
Hi @Alexandra
Confluence has the option to show "Space Activity" or "Global Activities". There you can see the "most popular content (views)", "most active content (edits)" and "most active contributors (edits)"
If you want to create a User Macro, you can write one (just in confluence server).
Therefore, I do not know, how to persist data in a user macro.
Hope this helps
Regards,
Dominic
Hi,
can't think of a solution w/o a plugin. You might want to check Page View.
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215565/page-views?hosting=server&tab=overview
It's a real bargain, compared to other tools....
We've been using it for two years now & it's getting better & better.
